Organ Pipe Cactus park is open every day including all holidays.
The Kris Eggle Visitor Center is open daily from 8am to 5pm Mountain Standard time, excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
The campgrounds, roads and trails are subject to periodic closures. Please check with the Kris Eggle Vistor Center for more information.
Entrance Fees: for a single visit up to seven days
No refunds are given due to inclement weather.
Vehicle: (private car or motorcycle)
$8.00 per vehicle for a seven day pass
Individual: (on foot or bicycle)
$4.00 per person for a seven day pass.
Directions:
Car: From the North: follow Arizona Highway 85 through Ajo and Why. The Monument is 4 miles from Why. The Kris Eggle Visitor Center is 22 miles (35.4 km) south of Why. From the East: follow Arizona Highway 86 to Why, then turn south on Arizona Highway 85. From the West: follow I-8 to Gila Bend or I-10 to Buckeye, then turn south on Arizona Highway 85. From Mexico: drive on Mexico Route 2 to Sonoyta, then north to Lukeville. Drive north on Highway 85 from Lukeville. The Kris Eggle Visitor Center is 4 miles north of Lukeville on Highway 85.
